yay!! you’ve decided to go down the self publishing route - here are some steps you should take in order to achieve this.

1. research self publishers although you’ve probably already done this by now, it’s important to research places where you can self publish your book! the most wellknown self publisher is amazon.
2. format your book this may require you hiring someone, or if not at least googling a tutorial. it’s important to format your book correctly, so that it looks like a book when printed! this includes adding in any designs you want in your book, including chapter covers, fonts, and paragraph breaks!
3. design a cover there are many many ways you can do this! whether it’s designing a cover yourself, commissioning someone else to make you a cover. or some other method - whatever is easiest for you to do, you should do!
4. follow the steps on the self publishing website this is pretty self explanatory! if you’re using a website such as amazon, it should have a list of detailed instructions for you to follow, including sizing guides and restrictions. it’s vital you check this before uploading your book!
